MCIRCC has partnered with the Center for Systems Biology (CSB) and the Center for the Study of Complex Systems (CSCS) to host a one-day symposium on September 14. The symposium “Advancing Precision Medicine through Complex Systems Biology” will discuss precision medicine applications for complex biological systems using computational approaches.

Two MCIRCC members will present their research at the event; Kayvan Najarian, Phd and Dan Beard, PhD. Dr. Najarian is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics, as well as an Associate Director at MCIRCC. Dr. Beard is a Professor in the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology.

Along with the presentations, there will be an informal student poster session and other social activities to enhance interactions amongst attendees.
