Liandi Lou, MD
Dr. Liandi Lou holds a degree in medicine from the Peking Union Medical College in China. He has been involved in biomedical research at the University of Michigan since 1994. In 2001, he joined the Nephrology section and developed skills as a perfusionist to conduct research on extracorporeal therapy using a bioartificial kidney for treatment of septic shock and acute kidney failure. Dr. Lou currently also works with Innovative BioTherapies, Inc. developing novel extracorporeal therapies for treatment of acute and chronic organ failure.
